Adam Gross : Retirement Solutions

Adam Gross

When you sit down to talk finances, does your heart rate pick up, your hands get clammy, and you worry about saying the right thing? Hopefully we are sitting down over a cup of coffee, so those are just side effects of the caffeine. Thanks for stopping by, as you likely already realize I’m Adam Gross and I’m a Financial Services Professional.

Often I’m met with a blank stare when I state my official job title, so let’s clear that up right away. It means that I love to sit down with people like you, hear about your goals and dreams, and help make sure the financial part of things are taken care of. It’s really as simple as that.

So what are my goals and dreams? To be able to help as many people succeed while I spend time enjoying the community that Billings has to offer. Along with my wife Brit and our daughters Reagan and Lincoln, we want to give back and enjoy life in the Last Best Place.

You’ve made it this far, keep reading to see how I can help reduce your stress and worries!

Why Am I Here?

My ultimate goal is to serve you. Whether you need some advice on what to do with an old 401(k) from a previous job, or if you wonder whether your life insurance is up-to-date, or if you even have enough money to build a financial strategy (hint, you most likely do), I’m here for you.

You work hard, and you deserve to be on the path to financial freedom. So I am making your goals my priorities. My job isn’t to push something you don’t want; I’m here to help you. Think of it this way: you are the CEO, you make the decisions and you are empowered to control your financial journey. I’m merely the bricklayer that helps to put it all in place.

“But Adam, I don’t know if I have enough money! I don’t know if I can save enough!”

Let’s forget about that for now. Today our only goal is to maximize what you already have. Our goal is to create a plan that gets you pointed in the right direction. Our goal is to get you started on developing the discipline necessary to save and live within the guidelines that you have set out for yourself. Without a plan, no amount of money will ever be “enough.”

As soon as this is accomplished, scaling your plan to meet the long term needs is the simple part!

When you’re planning out your retirement goals, do you plan out numbers in your bank account, or do you plan out a lifestyle? At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how much money you have; what matters is if you can live the life that you want to live.

When we sit down together, I can help you determine what that lifestyle looks like. Together we decide what the money is supposed to do, and with the goal in mind, we can create a plan that will ultimately let you live a life where money worries have been stripped away.

The IF Factor

So how does that look? Finances can be boiled down to the IF Factor. No, that’s not the “what if’s” but it stands for Income Flow. And there are three “No Longers” that can happen to that Income Flow.

No Longer Around – What happens if you die and you’re no longer around to provide that income flow. Are your final affairs in order? Is your family provided for? Will your legacy be left the way you want it?

No Longer Able – What happens if you are no longer able to provide an income? How will the bills be paid? How will you feed yourself and your family? Will you be able to keep the house? Will your retirement be funded?

No Longer Willing – Retirement means different things to different people, but usually it involves not being required to work for a living. Are your retirement goals on track? Will you be able to quit your job when you're no longer willing to work? What can you do if you’re not on track?

If any of these “No Longers” caused you concern or doubt, then you know why I am here!

How Did I End Up Here?

With a background in graphic design, and past experience working for a communications company, you may wonder why I’m in the position I am now. The short answer: I love to help people meet their needs. The longer answer takes a different path.

I view myself as an artist. Traditional art is fantastic, but most people can’t readily apply it to their lives. So my initial dream was to provide outstanding graphic design for companies and individuals. My goal was to help them succeed with a vibrant flare.

Life took a different course, and I ended up working for Spectrum (formerly Optimum). During my tenure there, just over 2 years, I earned the top achievements in the company (not just Billings, the entire company) 18 times! It wasn’t because I was great, or because I’m a sweet salesman. It was because I followed my passion of helping people; not selling, but offering solutions.

It was at this point I discovered my “why.” Why am I here? I am here to serve you, to empower you, and to help you. Financial services is the best area where I can help you live a life that you are proud of, and help you retire comfortably on your terms.

When you’re in control, and you have the mindset to succeed, then the plan that I help you create will come into place. The first step is to make sure that you want this.

Have we connected? Let’s get coffee (tea falls into that category).
